A leading brand in the supply and maintenance of construction machinery across the UK and abroad. This company offers a service and maintenance package to multiple clients with respect to Kobelco, Hyundai and Sennebogen products, amongst others. 

What is on offer?

• Salary between £32K-£35K.
• Full in house system training will be provided.
• Hand tools to be provided by the employee. Specialist tools provided by the Company.
• Tool allowance of £40.00 per month.
• Company provided tech – laptop, iPad and mobile phone.

Main Responsibilities:

• • Workshop inspections and record keeping.
  • Implementation of Company’s health & safety requirements within the premises.
  • Recording of operational data from contract processing operations.
  • General fitting and fabrication within the workshop and yard area.
  • Occasionally required to assist others on customer sites.
  • Maintenance of working stocks of workshop items, sundries and consumables.
  •  Keeping workshop environment and yard area clean, tidy and well ordered.

Additional Responsibilities:

• Care of company vehicle and reporting of defects. VW Transporter van with racking
•  Good communication with customers and other staff.

Work experience requirements:

• Competent welder and fabricator using MIG equipment, plasma cutting equipment etc.
• Ability to fabricate from drawings.
• CSCS/Quarry Safety Pass card holder is preferred.
• Counterbalance Forklift and experience required.
• Slinger/Signaler, Telescopic Handler and Artic-Boom experience useful.
• Ability to thrive and succeed in a busy, ever-changing environment.
• Good team player.
• Comfortable working in a small team where role boundaries flex to suit business needs.
• Excellent level of attention to detail and conscientiousness.
• Full driving license required.

Education Requirements:

• Good general level of Education. Competency in English and Maths
• Ability to use Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Fluency in English to a good standard, verbal and written.
