Your New Company:

Reporting to the Plant Manager, working within a large, busy manufacturing plant, you will be responsible for leading the engineering teams and helping with the delivery of the WCM change journey. Specialising in the FMCG sector, this client offers a diverse role within a company that operates within a booming industry.

• 4 on 4 off shifts (2 days 2 nights on 7-7)

Job Requirements:

• People Management – Managing a team of up to 50 (permanent and temporary). Assess and analyse the performance of the current team on site and identify areas for improvement, focussing on coaching and mentoring, working alongside the Factory Manager to drive sustainable change.
• Stakeholder Management – Work with key stakeholders within the management team to effectively implement your plans and maintain engagement from all parties to achieve sustainable results.
• Communication Style – Engage the right way with your target audience. Work to bring people around to your way of thinking to drive the delivery of your plans with successful buy in from all parties.
• Training – Work with the wider team and site to ensure training is delivered, understood and embedded into the organisation.
• Analytics & Analysis – Support the CI team as a key stakeholder within the business, to analyse key performance data to deliver fact based decision making that drives sustained results.
• Health & Safety – Complete scheduled safety observations, start up audits and ensure GMP is adhered to. Promote and encourage an atmosphere of ownership in how your team and colleagues identify and report risks. 

Person Requirements:

• Experience of influencing key stakeholders as part of the senior management team
• Enjoys working with people to achieve buy in
• Recognised engineering qualification
• Passionate about people management and working with winning teams
• Accustomed to fast paced and challenging working environments
• Working knowledge of FMCG and FOOD type manufacturing
• Suitable for – Production Managers, Operational Leads and Operations Managers.
