  • Salary – up to £39.5K (OTE £58K)
  • 40 hour week – 8:00 – 16:30

Main Responsibilities of the Preventative Maintenance Engineer:
The main duty of this role is to be able to carry out Machine Plant Servicing and Repairs to Construction, Agricultural, Industrial, Heavy Line and Recycling Equipment. 
Duties:

  • Build and Maintain relationships with the customer.
  • Feedback any important customer information to the company
  • To promote the organisation and the Brand to new and existing customers
  • To promote aftermarket products and services to the customer
  • To react to any customer needs quickly, effectively, and efficiently
  • To carry out repairs to the highest standard to provide a “First Time Fix” to the customer.
  • Possess excellent laptop computer technical diagnostics skills.
  • Service and maintain Equipment to the Manufactures specifications.
  • Maintain and improve our profile in the marketplace.
  • Complete Machinery Health Checks identifying further work opportunities.
  • Provide World Class Customer Service
  • Always present a professional image.
  • Carry out all work practices in line with company health and safety policy.
  • Any other duties as deemed necessary to fulfil the role.

 
Work experience requirements for the Preventative Maintenance Engineer:

  • Strong background in Plant industry essential.
  • NVQ Level 2 Plant Maintenance or equivalent.
  • CSCS card holder is preferred.
  • Experience of diagnostic tools and computer software including Engine diagnostics
  • Ability to thrive and succeed in a busy, ever-changing environment
  • Excellent level of attention to detail and conscientiousness
  • Preferred dealer experience but not essential
  • Must be able to travel outside of the UK to attend manufacturers training courses.
