An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Forklift Service Engineer to provide routine and emergency maintenance, service and support in the Yorkshire and Humber region, onsite at customer premises. With a background in forklifts, the Mobile Forklift Engineer will have the ability to swiftly and expertly diagnose and conduct the repair or service in a knowledgeable, friendly, courteous, and enthusiastic manner, to the highest standard.
We currently have a large customer base which includes a high amount of electrical equipment, so you must have the ability to prove you have sound electrical knowledge and experience. 
 
What is on offer for the Field Service Engineer?

• £34,320 – £36,400 Salary – Overtime Potential
• Day Shifts – 9 to 5
• Company Van Provided + Fuel.
• Field Service Role covering Yorkshire & Humber region.

 
Main Responsibilities of the Field Service Engineer:
Experienced field service engineer covering the below on various fork lift equipment.

• Repair and maintain Fork lift trucks and other site MHE.
• Carry out after service repair work.
• Carry out routine maintenance with customers to achieve service levels. 
• Site visits across various areas within your agreed patch.
• Comply with all H&S rules.
• Planning and self-organisation.
• Completing a service report for each job on a PDA system.

 
Work experience requirements for the Field Service Engineer:

• Solid experience with forklifts.
• Confident Electrical knowledge.
• City & Guilds in mechanics or equivalent qualification.
• Be well-organised, methodical and process driven.
• Ability to think outside the box, adept at finding solutions.
• Good at managing own workload and able to cope with pressure.
• Present a professional image – be trustworthy, punctual, and polite.
• Good team player.
