We are a leading and fast-growing provider of maintenance support, services and hire of forklifts to commercial industry and business. An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Forklift Service Engineer to provide routine and emergency maintenance, service and support in the Yorkshire and Humber region, onsite at customer premises. With a background in forklifts, the Mobile Forklift Engineer will have the ability to swiftly and expertly diagnose and conduct the repair or service in a knowledgeable, friendly, courteous, and enthusiastic manner, to the highest standard.
We currently have a large customer base which includes a high amount of electrical equipment, so you must have the ability to prove you have sound electrical knowledge and experience.
What is on offer for the Field Service Engineer?
- £34,320 – £36,400 Salary – Overtime Potential
- Day Shifts – 9 to 5
- Company Van Provided + Fuel.
- Field Service Role covering Yorkshire & Humber region.
Main Responsibilities of the Field Service Engineer:
Experienced field service engineer covering the below on various fork lift equipment.
- Repair and maintain Fork lift trucks and other site MHE.
- Carry out after service repair work.
- Carry out routine maintenance with customers to achieve service levels.
- Site visits across various areas within your agreed patch.
- Comply with all H&S rules.
- Planning and self-organisation.
- Completing a service report for each job on a PDA system.
Work experience requirements for the Field Service Engineer:
- Solid experience with forklifts.
- Confident Electrical knowledge.
- City & Guilds in mechanics or equivalent qualification.
- Be well-organised, methodical and process driven.
- Ability to think outside the box, adept at finding solutions.
- Good at managing own workload and able to cope with pressure.
- Present a professional image – be trustworthy, punctual, and polite.
- Good team player.
